About Laura Carbonneau

I am a professional strategist, project manager, content developer, and creative thinker with 10 years experience helping private, public, and non-profit organizations use effective communication and interactive technology for success.

My current focus is on helping small non-profits and businesses with search engine marketing, social media strategy, and business development.  Please contact me here if you are interested in discussing my services.

Most recently, I was Manager of Online Communications for Georgetown University’s alumni and fundraising arm. I led the creation of the division’s first comprehensive and interactive Intranet and implemented an editorial schedule, project tracking, and social media strategy for the alumni Web site.

Previously I worked for the State of Texas, Tivoli Systems, and several non-profit organizations, for which I led improved implementation of online communications, by creating content, implementing collaborative and community tools, and more.

I’m also a native Austinite.  Many of my former colleagues and friends know me by my maiden name, Laura Pierce. Besides Austin, I love cycling, gardening, cooking, and supporting innovation.  I live in 78704 with my husband and our two cats, who are named for two giants of cycling – Fausto Coppi and Miguel Indurain.
